#3 2019 Jaguar I-PACE
The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace is not only for the British carmaker but also for electric vehicles, in particular, a breakthrough car. It’s unique in combining an SUV’s athleticism with all of an EV’s finest characteristics, which is smooth, quiet, and quick performance.
While comparisons are inevitable with the Tesla Model X, this car is seen as more of a people-mover than a sporty crossover SUV. Besides being a paradigm shifter, the I-Pace also builds on Jaguar’s newfound expertise in constructing skilled crossover SUVs such as the F-and E-Pace while providing the brand’s promise of a luxurious experience in design and cabin convenience.
And not only does the EV technology provide excellent variety and efficiency, it is also the foundation for a package that delivers greater space and utility in a clean package. It is the first in a fresh generation of EV SUVs that involves the upcoming Audi e-Tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC. However, because it is now on sale, the Jag has an upper hand.
